Separation Anxiety Course

This practical online course is designed to help dog owners understand separation anxiety, recognise the signs and learn how to help their dog feel more relaxed and confident when left alone.

The course explains why separation anxiety develops, how stress affects a dog's behaviour and how to distinguish separation anxiety from other possible causes of unwanted behaviour.

Through two lessons, owners will learn practical ways to encourage relaxation, recognise and change the routines that trigger anxiety, and gradually help their dog become more comfortable with being alone.

The course also covers calming products, managing the home environment and knowing when additional professional support may be needed.

A successful completion certificate will be provided.

What does the course cover?
